Review Nikwax TX Direct, Absolutely functional in returning material to a waterproof state

A previous week. I search for information on the Nikwax TX Direct Waterproofing, so i would like to describe here.

There is no such thing (yet) as a waterproofing spray that completely restores a jacket like new levels of performance, but this stuff is pretty darn close when applied correctly. the directions on the bottle are a good start, but for best results you need a bit of extra work: I treated a snowboard jacket of aging with it, and the results were very satisfactory. the most important thing to remember is to rub IN-once you spray this stuff on, work into the fabric so that when it dries it stands a better chance of remaining inside the fabric (instead of being carried out). I recommend using rubber gloves, because it will be waterproof hands. Once you are done (spray and rub in some extra high wear areas of your garment), throw it in the dryer for a few minutes over medium heat. This is any remaining spray dry and then picking up the threads inside of your garment. Remember, this is not the magical spray-but it works quite well when applied correctly. If the jacket is old and the DWR coating is peeling off pre-installed (or was it waterproof/water resistant to begin with), all the Nikwax in the world wouldn't help. However, if all you're getting is a small infiltration and the clothes are still in good shape, grab a bottle of this and I will make a huge difference.
