This is a great jacket for winter. I live near Chicago, very cold and windy! This jacket is ideal for block the wind & keep me warm. I love how thin is because I don't like feeling bulky. If you're not familiar w/Columbia jackets run small. I usually wear a medium, he ordered a large and it is still a tight fit, not tight but it fits close to the body.
